Guillermo Figueroa conducts Romance & Rhapsody, featuring Cliburn Gold Medalist and GRAMMY®-nominated pianist Olga Kern performing Rachmaninoff’s beloved Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Haydn’s Harpsichord Concerto in D Major. With a vivid onstage presence, dazzling technique, and keen musicianship, Kern is widely recognized as one of the great artists of her generation. Your toes will be tapping when The Santa Fe Symphony presents Symphonic Dances from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story, just one of the works featured on this high-spirited afternoon of symphonic music. The concert features a side-by-side performance with members of The Santa Fe Symphony Youth Orchestra performing Moncayo’s Huapango. Gabriela Lena Frank’s Three Latin American Dances and Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 round out the program. This free outdoor music series in Santa Fe, runs from May 25 st to August 28th, 2026, featuring over 50 concerts and movies at various locations throughout the city. Each fall, pilots, crews and spectators from all over the world come to the Albuquerque balloon festival, known as the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta®, the world’s largest hot air ballooning event.
Each year, El Rancho de las Golondrinas, the living history museum devoted to Spanish Colonial life, hosts the Harvest Festival, which provides visitors with the opportunity to help bring in the harvest. Taste syrup from a burro driven sorghum mill, help make cider by cranking a traditional apple press, and pick a pumpkin from a scarecrow-guarded patch. Children can stomp grapes by foot, make harvest wreaths or roll their own delicious tortilla by hand. There’s a lot to do at this long-running and acclaimed event! El Rancho De Las Golondrinas.

One of Santa Fe’s most beloved holiday traditions, the Farolito Walk, lights up the hearts & souls of visitors to Canyon Road each holiday season.
Ring in the New Year on the Santa Fe Plazaǃ The festivities begin at 9:00 p.m. with local bands performing on the Santa Fe Bandstand. Enjoy hot chocolate and biscochitos next to the cozy piñon bonfires. When the countdown ends, a Zia symbol crafted by a traditional Spanish colonial artisan will be raised as the sky overhead lights up with a festive fireworks display. Plaza
