The Witter Bynner Room is a spacious, second-floor room with a large fireplace, a king-size bed, viga beams, and a sitting area with a full-size sofa and two overstuffed chairs facing the fireplace. Attached to this room is a private balcony with gorgeous views of the gardens, Santa Fe, and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This room was originally Bynner's study. The bath is private with a claw-foot tub-and-shower combination. The toilet and sink are in a separate space that can be closed off from the rest of the bath. This bath is accessed by going down three steps onto a private landing.
The Robert Hunt Room is used as the second bedroom for the Bynner-Hunt Suite. Since the room is accessible only by going through the Bynner bathroom, it is never rented separately. It is only rented only in conjunction with the Bynner Room to create the Bynner-Hunt Suite for guests requiring a private two-bedroom suite. See the Hunt Room.
"A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY!"
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012
" We stayed here last month and it was one of the most enjoyable times that we have ever had staying at a Bed and Breakfast. Actually we have stayed in over 100 B&B's. Robert, the owner, was extremely professional and friendly and made for a perfect stay. We enjoyed talking with the other guests as well as they were from all over the US. Rooms were extremely clean and over all it was a perfect stay. We will certainly be returning the this B&B. Robert was full of information on where we should visit and dine while visiting Santa Fe. In all of our travels from coast to coast this was truly one of the most pleasing experiences that we have ever had. Why can't all Bed & Breakfasts be like this? They were located within walking distance to the Santa Fe Plaza so parking was not a problem at all. We particulary enjoyed the fact that this was the late estate of the famous poet/author Witter Bynner. Great ambiance and fabulous breakfast with our choice of many different selections. Owner Robert, as well as Tom were so helpful. We would recommend anybody staying there. It will be an experience that you won't be forgetting for a long time.
Room Tip: Our favorite was the Witter Bynner Suite with a wonderful overlooking balcony to view everything."
